Anti-MRPL32 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein mitochondrial ribosomal protein L32. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 188 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. A member of the Bacterial ribosomal protein bL32 protein family, MRPL32 is known to be involved with mitochondrial translation and protein translation. Synonyms for this target antigen include 39S ribosomal protein L32, mitochondrial and mitochondrial large ribosomal subunit protein bL32m. MRPL32 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the MRPL32 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
