Anti-Peroxiredoxin 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PRDX1 in humans. The Peroxiredoxin 1 protein has a reported amino acid length of 199 and an expected mass of 22.1 kDa. The protein may also be known as MSP23, PAGA, NKEF-A, NKEFA, epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, and natural killer cell-enhancing factor A. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
