Anti-SAC1 like phosphatidylinositide phosphatase antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene SACM1L in humans. The gene may also be known as SAC1, SAC1 suppressor of actin mutations 1-like (yeast), phosphatidylinositide phosphatase SAC1, and suppressor of actin 1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 67 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
