Anti-SDAD1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SDA1 domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 687 amino acid residues and a mass of 79.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the testis, kidney, spleen, brain and fetal tissues. A member of the SDA1 protein family, SDAD1 is known to be required for 60S pre-ribosomal subunits export to the cytoplasm. Synonyms for this target antigen include SDA1 domain-containing protein 1, nucleolar protein 130, and protein SDA1 homolog. SDAD1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SDAD1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are common applications for these antibodies.
