Anti-VILL antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein villin like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 856 amino acid residues and a mass of 95.9 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. It is a member of the Villin/gelsolin protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include villin-like protein. VILL gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the VILL antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
