Anti-Homeobox C12 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the HOXC12 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 282 amino acid residues and a mass of 30.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is a member of the Abd-B homeobox protein family. Other names for this target antigen include HOC3F and HOX3. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some Homeobox C12 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
