Anti-OAZ1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ornithine decarboxylase antizyme 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 228 amino acid residues and a mass of 25.4 kDa. It is a member of the ODC antizyme protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include AZ1 and AZI. OAZ1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some OAZ1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Western Blot are also common applications.
