Anti-HOXA4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein homeobox A4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 320 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Antp homeobox protein family, HOXA4 is known to be involved with the morphogenesis of anatomical structure and the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include HOX1 and HOX1D. HOXA4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of HOXA4 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
