Anti-Inversin antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene INVS in humans. The inversin protein has an expected mass of 117.8 kDa, but there are 3 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as Nphp2, inv, NPH2, inversion of embryo turning homolog, and inversion of embryonic turning. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
