Anti-RUFY2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RUN and FYVE domain containing 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 606 amino acid residues and a mass of 70 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in the brain, lung and testis. Synonyms for this target antigen include Run- and FYVE-domain containing protein, antigen MU-RMS-40.17, rab4-interacting protein related, and RUN and FYVE domain-containing protein 2. RUFY2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the RUFY2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
