Anti-EHBP1L1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein EH domain binding protein 1 like 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1523 amino acid residues and a mass of 161.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the endosome. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. EHBP1L1 is believed to act as Rab effector protein and play a role in vesicle trafficking. Synonyms for this target antigen include EH domain-binding protein 1-like protein 1 and tangerin. EHBP1L1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some EHBP1L1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunocytochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
