Anti-NPDC1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein neural proliferation, differentiation and control 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 325 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is reported to be highly expressed in adult brain; especially in hippocampus, frontal lobe and temporal lobe. It is a member of the NPDC1/cab-1 protein family. The NPDC1 marker can be used to identify Blood Vessel Endothelial Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include neural proliferation differentiation and control protein 1. NPDC1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is a widely used application for the NPDC1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
