Anti-FHL3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein four and a half LIM domains 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 280 amino acid residues and a mass of 31.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is found to be preferentially expressed in skeletal muscle. FHL3 is known to be involved with cytoskeleton organization and muscle organ development. Synonyms for this target antigen include four and a half LIM domains protein 3, LIM-only protein FHL3, SLIM-2, skeletal muscle LIM-protein 2, and SLIM2. FHL3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of FHL3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
