Anti-LZIC antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein leucine zipper and CTNNBIP1 domain containing. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 190 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. It is a member of the CTNNBIP1 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include leucine zipper and CTNNBIP1 domain-containing protein, leucine zipper and ICAT homologous domain-containing protein, leucine zipper domain and ICAT homologous domain containing, and protein LZIC. LZIC gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the LZIC antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
