Anti-EPS8-like 2 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the EPS8L2 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 715 amino acid residues and a mass of 80.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 3 different isoforms for this protein. It is notably expressed in fibroblasts and placenta. It is a member of the EPS8 protein family. The gene encoding this protein is implicated in Deafness. Other names for this target antigen include EPS8-related protein 2, epidermal growth factor receptor pathway substrate 8-related protein 2, and epidermal growth factor receptor kinase substrate 8-like protein 2. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the EPS8-like 2 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
