Anti-DEPDC1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DEP domain containing 1B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 529 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.8 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the tonsil, testis, lymph node, and gallbladder. DEPDC1B is known to be involved with cell migration and intracellular signal transduction. Synonyms for this target antigen include HBV X-transactivated gene 8 protein, HBV XAg-transactivated protein 8, HBxAg transactivated protein 1, breast cancer cell 3, and DEP domain-containing protein 1B. DEPDC1B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of DEPDC1B antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
