Anti-DPM3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein dolichyl-phosphate mannosyltransferase subunit 3, regulatory. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 92 amino acid residues and a mass of 10.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the DPM3 protein family, DPM3 is known to be involved with carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis. Synonyms for this target antigen include MDDGB15, MDDGC15, dolichol-phosphate mannosyltransferase subunit 3, DPM synthase complex subunit 3, DPM synthase subunit 3, and CDG1O. DPM3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Some DPM3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
