Anti-Claudin 3 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CLDN3 in humans. The Claudin 3 protein has a reported amino acid length of 220 and an expected mass of 23.3 kDa. The protein may also be known as RVP1, C7orf1, CPE-R2, CPETR2, HRVP1, CPE-R 2, and CPE-receptor 2. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
