Anti-F-box protein 44 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the FBXO44 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 255 amino acid residues and a mass of 29.7 kDa. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 2 different isoforms for this protein. It is found to be highly expressed in the brain and kidney. Other names for this target antigen include F-box gene 3, F-box protein FBX30, F-box/G-domain protein 3, and F-box only protein 44.
