Anti-CNOT6L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 6 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 555 amino acid residues and a mass of 63 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the placenta, skeletal muscle, pancreas, testis and leukocytes. A member of the CCR4/nocturin protein family, CNOT6L is known to have 3'-5' poly(A) exoribonuclease activity for synthetic poly(A) RNA substrate. Synonyms for this target antigen include carbon catabolite repressor protein 4 homolog B. CNOT6L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CNOT6L antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
