Anti-Forkhead box L2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene FOXL2 in humans. The gene may also be known as BPES, PFRK, POF3, BPES1, PINTO, and forkhead box protein L2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 38.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
