Anti-BRPF3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein bromodomain and PHD finger containing 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1205 amino acid residues and a mass of 135.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. BRPF3 is reported to be a scaffold subunit of various histone acetyltransferase (HAT) complexes, such as the MOZ/MORF and HBO1 complexes, which have a histone H3 acetyltransferase activity. Synonyms for this target antigen include bromodomain and PHD finger-containing protein 3. BRPF3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These BRPF3 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
