Anti-ELF2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein E74 like ETS transcription factor 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 593 amino acid residues and a mass of 64 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 5 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in all fetal and adult tissues examined. A member of the ETS protein family, ELF2 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include NERF, NERF-1A, NERF-1B, NERF-1a,b, NERF-2, and EU32. ELF2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of ELF2 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
