Anti-efg antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The efg antigen is another term for the human protein MYB proto-oncogene, transcription factor, encoded by the MYB gene. The protein is known to function in erythrocyte differentiation and the cell cycle, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 640 residues and a mass of 72.3 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and bone marrow.
