Anti-C3orf52 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 3 open reading frame 52. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 217 amino acid residues and a mass of 24.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include TPA induced trans-membrane protein, novel endoplasmic reticulum transmembrane protein, and TPA-induced transmembrane protein. C3orf52 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some C3orf52 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Immunohistochemistry experiments, among other applications.
