Anti-CD309 antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene KDR, or 'kinase insert domain receptor' in humans. The 1356-amino acid protein is a member of the Protein kinase superfamily, Tyr protein kinase family, CSF-1/PDGF receptor subfamily. The cellular localization is predicted to be cytoplasmic, nuclear, membrane-associated and secreted. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
