Anti-GPRASP2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein G protein-coupled receptor associated sorting protein 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 838 amino acid residues and a mass of 93.8 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in the brain. A member of the GPRASP protein family, GPRASP2 is believed to play a role in regulation of a variety of G-protein coupled receptors. The GPRASP2 gene has been associated with the disease, Deafness. GPRASP2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Some GPRASP2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for these antibodies.
