Anti-CHD7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromodomain helicase DNA binding protein 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 2997 amino acid residues and a mass of 335.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 4 different isoforms for this protein. It is found to be widely expressed in fetal and adult tissues. A member of a the SNF2/RAD54 helicase protein family, CHD7 is a suspected transcription regulator. Synonyms for this target antigen include ATP-dependent helicase CHD7 and CHARGE association.
