Anti-Phosphoserine aminotransferase 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PSAT1 in humans. The gene may also be known as Psa1, EPIP, NLS2, PSAT, endometrial progesterone-induced protein, and phosphohydroxythreonine aminotransferase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 40.4 kilodaltons in mass. The PSAT1 marker can be used to identify CD4 Memory T Cells and Effector Memory CD45RA CD4 T Cells.* Based on gene name, plant, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
