Anti-LYG1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein lysozyme g1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 194 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.4 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is a member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 23 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include lysozyme g-like protein 1 and lysozyme G-like 1. LYG1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. These LYG1 antibodies are widely used in ELISA experiments, among other applications.
