Anti-CYBRD1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cytochrome b reductase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 286 amino acid residues and a mass of 31.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include cytochrome b561 family, member A2, duodenal cytochrome b, ferric-chelate reductase 3, and plasma membrane ascorbate-dependent reductase CYBRD1. CYBRD1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of CYBRD1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
