Anti-RFTN2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein raftlin family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 501 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is notably expressed in the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. It is a member of the Raftlin protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include raftlin-2 and raft-linking protein 2. RFTN2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the rftn2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
