Anti-SFMBT2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein Scm like with four mbt domains 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 894 amino acid residues and a mass of 100.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. SFMBT2 is reported to be a transcriptional repressor of HOXB13 gene. Synonyms for this target antigen include Scm-related gene containing four mbt domains 2, scm-like with 4 MBT domains protein 2, and scm-like with four MBT domains protein 2. SFMBT2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SFMBT2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
