Anti-Placental growth factor antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PGF in humans. The gene may also be known as PLGF2, PlGF, D12S1900, PGFL, PIGF, and placenta growth factor. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 24.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
