Anti-LMO4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein LIM domain only 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 165 amino acid residues and a mass of 18 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. LMO4 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. The LMO4 marker can be used to identify Mast Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include LIM domain only protein 4, LIM-only 4 protein, breast tumor autoantigen, and LIM domain transcription factor LMO4. LMO4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of LMO4 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
