Anti-DEPDC7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DEP domain containing 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 511 amino acid residues and a mass of 58.3 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the liver. A member of the DEPDC7 protein family, DEPDC7 is known to be involved with intracellular signal transduction. Synonyms for this target antigen include dJ85M6.4 (novel 58.3 KDA protein), novel 58.3 KDA protein, and DEP domain-containing protein 7. DEPDC7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some DEPDC7 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
