Anti-Amyloid beta precursor like protein 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene APLP2 in humans. The gene may also be known as APLP-2, APPH, APPL2, CDEBP, amyloid-like protein 2, and CDEI box-binding protein. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 87 kilodaltons in mass. The APLP2 marker can be used to identify Transitional Immature B Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
