Anti-ELMO3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein engulfment and cell motility 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 720 amino acid residues and a mass of 81.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. ELMO3 is known to be involved in cytoskeletal rearrangements required for phagocytosis of apoptotic cells and cell motility. Synonyms for this target antigen include engulfment and cell motility protein 3 and ced-12 homolog 3. ELMO3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ELMO3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
