Anti-HDDC3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein HD domain containing 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 179 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.3 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the MESH1 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include HD domain-containing protein 3, metazoan SpoT homolog 1, penta-phosphate guanosine-3'-pyrophosphohydrolase, and guanosine-3',5'-bis(diphosphate) 3'-pyrophosphohydrolase MESH1. HDDC3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the HDDC3 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
