Anti-DMRT3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein doublesex and mab-3 related transcription factor 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 472 amino acid residues and a mass of 51.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is notably expressed in the testis. A member of the DMRT protein family, DMRT3 is a suspected transcription factor that plays a role in configuring the spinal circuits controlling stride in vertebrates. Synonyms for this target antigen include DMRT-like family A3 and testis-specific protein. DMRT3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some DMRT3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
