Anti-TRMT1L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tRNA methyltransferase 1 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 733 amino acid residues and a mass of 81.7 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Trm1 protein family, TRMT1L is believed to play a role in motor coordination and exploratory behavior. Synonyms for this target antigen include TRM1 tRNA methyltransferase 1-like, TRM1-like protein, tRNA methyltransferase 1 homolog-like, and TRMT1-like protein. TRMT1L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TRMT1L antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
