Anti-FHR2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the FHR2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CFHR2 gene, which encodes complement factor H related 2. This protein is known to be involved in complement regulation. The human version of FHR2 has a canonical amino acid length of 270 residues and a protein mass of 30.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be a secreted protein. This target antigen may also be known as CFHL2.
