Anti-DGCR14 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DGCR14 is a known alias name of the protein ess-2 splicing factor homolog, encoded by the ESS2 gene in humans. This 476-amino acid residue protein is suspected to be involved in pre-mRNA splicing. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the heart, brain and skeletal muscle. Other synonyms for DGCR14 include DGCR13 and DGS-H.
