Anti-Thyroid stimulating hormone receptor antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TSHR in humans. The gene may also be known as TSHRA, CHNG1, LGR3, hTSHR-I, thyrotropin receptor, and TSH receptor. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 86.8 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
