The gene may also be known as Asgp, HSA276359, MUC-4, ascites sialoglycoprotein, and mucin 4, tracheobronchial. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 231.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
