Anti-CSBP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CSBP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MAPK14 gene, which encodes mitogen-activated protein kinase 14. This protein is known to function in angiogenesis and the apoptotic pathway, among other biological roles. The human version of CSBP has a canonical amino acid length of 360 residues and a protein mass of 41.3 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. CSBP is a member of the CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family.
