Anti-Bre2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Bre2 is a known alias name of the protein ASH2 like, histone lysine methyltransferase complex subunit, encoded by the ASH2L gene in humans. This 628-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in DNA damage pathways and the regulation of cell proliferation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features methylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for Bre2 include ASH2, ASH2L1, and ASH2L2. Western Blot is the most common application for the Bre2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
