Anti-MARCH-I antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MARCH-I antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MARCHF1 gene, which encodes membrane associated ring-CH-type finger 1. This protein is known to function in immune response pathways and protein ubiquitination, among other biological roles. The human version of MARCH-I has a canonical amino acid length of 289 residues and a protein mass of 32.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, Golgi, lysosomes, and cell membrane of cells.
