Anti-EIF2-beta antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EIF2-beta is a known alias name of the protein eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 subunit beta, encoded by the EIF2S2 gene in humans. This 333-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in in utero embryonic development and male gonad development, among other biological processes. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
