Anti-GBP4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein guanylate binding protein 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 640 amino acid residues and a mass of 73.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus, Golgi, and cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the GB1/RHD3 GTPase protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include guanine nucleotide-binding protein 4. GBP4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. A number of GBP4 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
